United Way of the Plains “Flags of Freedom”

To honor, celebrate and remember veterans this Memorial Day, your United Way is
inviting the community to be part of “Flags of Freedom,” a grand, two-week display of
American flags. The IAM District Lodge #70 field at I-235 and S. Meridian Ave. will be
transformed into a sea of red, white, and blue from Sunday, May 16, to Memorial Day,
Monday, May 31, to recognize those who have served our country.
DEDICATE A FLAG TODAY
Dedicate a flag in honor or memory of a service member for just $30. United Way will run all names and branches of service in a full-page ad in the Wichita Eagle on Sunday, May 30. Your gift will support United Way’s work to address the needs of our neighbors, including veterans, in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.
*Complete the form below or submit your dedication online at
https://secure.unitedwayplains.org/flagsoffreedom by Friday, May 14.
