Machinists Show Working-Class Solidarity Across the US and Canada for Labor Day

IAM members and leaders across the U.S. and Canada displayed their union and labor pride by participating in parades, rallying, and sharing Labor Day celebration messages all over social media.

Our union is proud to stand with other unions, labor leaders, and elected officials to celebrate working people on Labor Day. It was a machinist who founded Labor Day back in 1882; this day holds gratitude and reverence for the workers who came before us, as well as hope and solidarity for the workers of the future.
