Lochner’s dreaded return to the Supreme Court

The so-called Lochner era (1897 – 1937) was a trying time for the American workforce as the U.S. Supreme Court maintained a legal vice grip that left workers unprotected from big business exploitation. Pro-labor legal scholars are worried about a return to a Lochner era type ideology as the Court takes a pro-business ideological view.
