Union Plus Mortgage Now Available in New York

Union Plus has announced that their in-house Union Plus Mortgage Company (UPMC), is now licensed to serve union families in New York State. As a reminder, UPMC offers mortgages to qualified active and retired union members, their parents and children.

The UPMC program is currently available to eligible applicants residing CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, IL, IN, IA, MD, MA, Ml, MN, NJ, NY, NC,OH, OR, PA, VA, WA, WV and WI. Members can obtain further details on the Union Plus Mortgage Program by going to unionplusmortgaqe.com or calling 855-864-6653 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST.

Until the UPMC program is available in all states and for those wanting a face to face interaction, Wells Fargo Bank continues to partner with Union Plus for direct mortgages through that financial bank. As a reminder, the next Wells Fargo Neighborhood LIFT event will be held in Dallas, Texas, September 20-21, 2019 for those looking to buy a home in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This program provides down payment assistance and financial education for homebuyers. The registration portal for this event is currently open.

Next month’s Wells Fargo NeighborhoodLIFT event will be held in Newark, New Jersey, October 5, 2019, for those looking to buy a home in Essex County. Grants up to $20,000 are available for members looking to purchase homes in Essex County. Members who qualify as eligible military, veteran, or surviving spouse; law enforcement, firefighter, emergency medical technician or teacher/paraprofessional, could receive an additional $2,500 for a total grant of $22,500. The registration for this NeighborhoodLIFT event opens on September 16, 2019 at 9:00 a.m., space is limited. Members can register and learn more about the NeighborhoodLIFT program online wellsfargo.com/lift or by calling 866-858-2151.
