Each year the IAM, its Districts, and Locals plan fundraising events that support the mission of Guide Dogs of America – Tender Loving Canines, which is dedicated to providing guide dogs and instruction in their use, free of charge, to blind and visually impaired men and women from the United States and Canada so they may continue to pursue their goals with increased mobility and independence.
Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that receives no State or Federal funding and operates solely on generous donations and contributions.
It costs approximately $60,000, from puppy birth, puppy raising, training, and finally graduation for a Guide Team (Guide Dog & Recipient), which is why we need your support. You can partner with us to help them achieve this mission by sponsoring a lane at this year’s Doggie Bowl. A registration form is available below for download or printing.
