Machinists Custom Choices Worksite Benefit Program Update

Employee Benefit Systems Inc. (EBS) has been negotiating with the insurance carriers to help members keep and secure their elective benefits (Machinists Custom Choices Worksite Benefits Program) by creating a recovery plan for those who’ve experienced furloughs and or reduced work hours. If you have an elective benefit with EBS, please see the letter below.

If you have been laid-off or furloughed due to the Coronavirus, Kansas Department of Labor has issued a Union Tool Kit for members. You can also view the tool kit by clicking the link to Mario’s Food Pantry.

“Anyone who’s been affected by the layoffs from the supply chain or Spirit AeroSystems is eligible for Wichita Promise scholarships to upskill their training and their education, to reskill or continue toward their degree,” said Dr. Utash.
The Wichita Promise Scholarship Program is designed to increase Wichita’s skilled workforce by helping pay for tuition and fees for students. It helps them find high wage, high demand jobs and gives them personal career coaching, training, and more.
