Hutchinson Machinists Ratify
Eaton Contract
Hutchison, KS, April 8, 2010
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge 1992 in Hutchison ratified a new three-year agreement with Eaton Corporation Thursday evening by a 60% Margin. The contract covers 123 workers at the Hutchison facility.
The contract goes into effect at 12:01 AM April 9 th, and all workers should report at their normal shift times.
The IAM is among the nation's largest and most politically active industrial trade unions, represents more than 700,000 active and retired workers in industries including aerospace, transportation, manufacturing, shipbuilding and woodworking. Visit www.goiam.org for more information about the IAM.
